Day 38 - Last day in Tenerife

Didn't do much today as we had to fly out later in the afternoon. So we decided to go for one last swim in the pool. We were able to book a room to take a shower which was good!

We couldn't get enough of Meson Castellano so we went back for the last time to try their other dishes. We really wanted to try their steak that we saw someone else eat the other day. They have a fry pan on the table and they cooked the meat themselves. But i think the waiter thought we wanted something else so instead we got some steak but already cooked and ready to eat in pieces. The steak was still really good so i was satisfied!!

After lunch, we headed straight to the airport and arrived at Malaga late at night.

Can't believe that our time in Tenerife has come to an end so soon. I think we were so used to the length of stay in Lanzarote (6 nights vs 3 nights in Tenerife). Oh well, in a way, i was kinda glad to leave cuz Tenerife was really touristy. So many british people around... so finally Malaga here we come!!

Day 37 - Tenerife - Cold cold cold...

Today the weather finally cleared up. So we headed out to Pico del Teide. Teide is the highest elevation in Spain and the volcano is still active. We took a cable car up to the top of the mountain up to 3555m high. There is another 200m to reach to the top but a special permit must be requested to climb to the top. We left our planning till last so we missed out on getting a special permit.

Anyway, it took us a while to line up for a ticket but luckily there was free wifi inside the building. Today is William and Kate's Royal wedding. So we ended up watching some videos from bbc app on Jess's iphone while we were lining up. We were all fascinated when we saw Kate's wedding dress. It was so beautiful. Even the lady standing behind us was peeking over to see the wedding!!

It was so cold when we got up to the top, it was around 1 degrees or so... windy and with what i wore, i was freezing!! I didn't bring a lot of clothes so i wore everything that i brought to the trip!! The guys were smart and had a proper wind proof jacket... need to invest into one of those!!

The views from the top was amazing!! We could see the clouds below us. That was how tall we were up the mountain!! There was a track that we could walk around the mountain... but for some reason it was quite difficult for me to walk around. I think the altitude of the mountain made me struggle a bit. I had trouble trying to breathe, felt so uncomfortable. So i decided to head back to the base and the others continued onwards to see the crater of one of volcanoes.

Icod de Los Vinos
Our next stop is 1000 year old tree. It took us ages to find this place and car parking too. The road in this town was so squashy and narrow!!

We were all looking forward to seeing the tree. But by the time we got there, we were disappointed. It is a big tree and it's amazing to think that this tree has been alive for 1000 years but at the end of the day, it is just a tree... hmm...

So we quickly took some photos and left.

By the time we finished visiting the tree, it was getting late so we decided to head back to the hotel. Warning guys... when you a tom tom or sat nav, make sure that you select "paved roads" to get back out of the mountains. The sat nav took us on amazing short cuts through the towns. There were a couple of times where we drove to a no-through road. And even worst... someone's backyard! OMG... all of us were so stressed out cuz we had to reverse out of the driveway on a slope and our freakin' car was not powerful at all!! We burnt a bit of the clutch but luckily we managed to get out and get back onto the usual curvy bends back to our hotel.

Crazy... just crazy... we were so glad to get out of there!!

Day 36 - Tenerife - Rainy morning

This morning we woke up and it suddenly started to rain. Oh no!

Our plans for today was suddenly put on hold... crap. How long is the rain gonna go on for? Will we will be able to drive out to those places later on in the day?

We ended up sleeping in, had a late lunch and chilled out a bit as we waited for the skies to clear. And it did. So around midday we left our hotel and headed towards Los Gigantes (Cliff of Giants).

- Los Gigantes
Los Gigantes is situated west of the island. We went to lookout point to check out the view of the town with the huge cliff as the backdrop. The views were amazing but there was nothing much to do so we had a quick ice cream break and headed for Masca.

- Masca
Set in the midst of the Teno, Masca is a remote picturesque village nestling in a stunning gorge. This village only became accessible by road thirteen years ago.

Driving in Masca - the views from our car ride were amazing but there were just too many sharp bends. No line marked between the road so when cars were coming from the opposite direction, it seemed as though there wasn't enough space. It was so scary when the buses started coming from the opposite end... all of us were totally freaked out, thinking that we were going crash and roll down the mountain. The bends made us all tired and esp for the driver. Our car was not powerful enough for the steep inclines too. This was definitely one of the most scary drives for me. But being able to stop by and take photos was just amazing... the views were spectacular. We just couldn't believe that we managed to drive so far up the mountain... just amazing!!

- Santiago del Teide

We successfully drove away from Masca. It took ages because of the bends... but we made it! We were all so hungry and it was quite late... around 4-5pm. We found a restaurant in the town and went in to have a quick meal... Grilled chicken for me!! The chicken was nice - it actually reminded me of Nandos chicken... hehe... I actually prefer the one we had in Lanzarote. Nothing can beat that!!

It a shame we couldn't do much today because of the rain and the stupid bends. But i guess, we did get Masca out of the way... so difficult to get to but i'm glad we did it!! El Teide - tomorrow!! Can't wait!!

Day 35 - Tenerife - So touristy

Can't believe we were leaving Lanzarote today. We all really enjoyed our stay here. We only wished that the weather was better cuz at times it was just too cloudy or windy.

I wonder what Tenerife will be like? I knew the area we are staying is very touristy. And a lot of people go there to party... hmmm?

We arrived in the airport in the North. It took us a while to get our car as we were trying to sort out all the excess cost that we had to pay for the car. We couldn't believe that we got a full tank of petrol at their own market price. It cost us around €76 for the whole tank when we could possibly fill it us ourselves for €30-40 a tank. We felt totally jibbed cuz we knew we would not be able to finish the whole tank or even half of it during our 3 night stay. So if you guys are planning to hire a car in Spain, NO "GOLD CARS"... they suck!!

We successfully checked into our hotel at Paradise Park Resort & Spa. We then headed straight to Meson Castellano for lunch. We were all so hungry by that time... luckily the restaurant didn't close down for a break.

The food we had was amazing. The food was really fresh... we chose the tapas options so we got 5 tapas to share amongst us 4. As we were eating, we were constantly looking over to see what other people were eating. A table had lots of seafood - looked so fresh. And other another table, had steak where they can cook the pieces of meat themselves. The insides were still raw so they can cook it for as long as want. All the food looked so delicious... we loved it so much. D and I loved it so much... we want to come back here again before we go!!

After lunch, we had a quick stroll along the beach. There were a lot of restaurants along the strip but they were all empty. There were staff standing outside their restaurant trying to get people to eat at their place... i couldn't believe how touristy this place was... hmm...

The beach wasn't that nice... the ones in Lanzarote was much better... esp the sand. So we decided to head back and go for a swim at the pool and a quick gym session before.

After walking & driving around town, we all preferred to just stay in the hotel for entertainment as there wasn't much to do around town. Everything was so touristy and there was just so much Brits around town. I definitely prefer Lanzarote more than Tenerife. So glad we stayed for 6 nights rather than 3!!

Day 34 - Lanazarote - Extra day car hire

We decided to hire the car for another day cuz we thought we had 2 more days left in Lanzarote. But by the time, we were about to head to the car and do more exploration, i realised that in actual fact today is our last full day in Lanzarote.

If we had realised earlier, then we didn't need to hire the car for an extra day. We could have easily spent the whole day relaxing
at our hotel. We were always out on the other days so we never got a chance to spend the whole day at Hotel to just chilli and relax.

Oh well... too late.

We headed up north towards Puerto del Carmen to head to the beaches around Famara. We spent a few hours at the beach... just suntanning. I had a brief dip in the water too. It was my first time swimming in the beach on this trip... it was always so cold and windy so we never got a chance to go for a swim... it was quite relaxing. Cold at first but i quickly warmed up to the temperature.

Around 4pm, we realised how late it was so we headed to El Sol - a restaurant recommended by the hotel ppl. When we drove into town, it was so deserted. There were not a lot of people around but luckily we ask someone in a cafe for directions to find this restaurant.

We sit outside and had direct views of the sea... the seafood was very fresh too. Our favourite was actually the house salad which has melon in it. The melon was quite addictive and when mixed with the salad and tuna... hmm.. yumm!!

After lunch, we headed back to the same beach for some more sun!! We were all satisfied with our suntanning results at the end of the day. I got slightly darker - just enough for me. JLai's uneven sunburnt evened out a bit. D looks more like an African guy which he likes and M tanned darker than me but very even with no sunburn ^^

Day 33 - Fuerteventura

I was very excited today that we were going to another island for more exploration - Fuerteventura!!

Why am I so excited? Because we get to drive our car onto the ferry and to another place!! It's my first time and I got overly excited about it when they were discussing about it the other day. The others thought i was crazy for having such a big reaction but seriously... these little things fascinate me so much!! hehehe...

We got there on time and drove into the car park area of the ferry. Each vehicle had to park really close to each other to ensure that everyone fits into the car park. The ferry ride took around half an hour. It was pretty quick cuz by the time we went outside to take some photos and then sat down to chat, it was time to leave again.

After ferry, we went to the tourist information center first to get a map and also some suggestions for restaurants and areas to explore.

- Corralejo
We briefly walked around Corralejo - the main city on that island. The beach was really nice but small so we decided to move on after a few photo shots.

- La Olivia
We then drove by this town for a stopover as the pictures on the map suggested that we should visit Casa de los Coroneles. There was no description of what this place is all about but we thought we'd just go and check it out. We walked over and discovered that the building was deserted. No one was there at all. Purely just the building and the mountains as the backdrop. Totally disappointed - took some quick shots and left.

- El Cotillo
El Cotillo is a little fishing village. This village was quite nice cuz it was along the coast with some beaches. As we walked over to the restaurant, La Vaca Azul for lunch we had to walk over some cliffs. It was really nice day to sit outside at the restaurant. The seafood that we ordered was really fresh and delicious... sitting down next to the water was so relaxing!! We all really liked this village!

- Parque Natural de Corralejo
We headed back north to Corralejo as we wanted to check out the beach. As we driving along the beaches, there were a lot of sand dunes on the other side of the road. We stopped by to check it out... apparently the sand has been blown over from the Sahara desert. We started playing around in the sand. We were sitting on top of the hill and D cames over and dragged me down the hill... at first i was scared cuz it looked deep but the sand was so soft so i slid down really smoothly... it was quite fun but when we had to climb back up the hill... it was so tiring!!

We had a hour or so to spare before we had to head back the port to board the ferry back. We stopped by Las Palmeras shopping centre for a quick toilet break. We headed back to Lanzarote and dropped H at the airport to fly back to London.

Day 32 - Lanzarote - North

Today we were planning to go to Fuerteventura Island for some sight seeing as the next following day, H needed to fly back to London and we didn't want to be rushed with time. We thought that we could easily head over the port and purchase a return ticket to ship our car over to the other island for a day. But by the time we arrived there and got in line, we realised that all the tickets were sold out for the times we wanted to go and come back.

Luckily tickets were still available for tomorrow so we decided to change our plans around. Explore the north of the island today, Fuerteventura tomorrow: SORTED

Luckily, I had printed off some attractions from some research i did just before the trip. Also a tour company was handing out brochures of their day trips so we were able to just follow their itinerary and travel to these tour attractions ourselves.

- Monumento Al Campesino
As we needed to head up north, we passed this monument and Casa Museum. We stopped for a toilet break and some photo opportunities. The Peasant's Monument and the Casa Museum were created to immortalize the difficult labour of Lanzarote's rural community. The museum was an old farm that was restored to preserve Canary architecture. What i like about this museum and also all the houses on this island is that they are all white. And most of the roof on these houses are flat... very simple but nice design.

- Teguise
We didn't get a chance to stop by this town cuz it was quite hard to parking. Even though they had their Sunday markets but we weren't sure what this town had so we continued to drive further north

- Mirador del Rio
This is a viewpoint situated on the very north of this island. This viewpoint looks out to the archaic island of La Graciosa. When we arrived, the skies were really cloudy. The views were amazing but it was just too cloudy & windy. We couldn't see much standing out on the platform so we decided to sit in the cafe for a coffee break. Luckily, the skies started to clear up so we headed out for some more shots and this time around the photos definitely looked much better

- Cueva de los Verdes
The Cueva de los Verdes or Green Caves are part of the Atlantida underground Cave system formed during the eruptions of the Corona Volcano. The original inhabitants (Guanches) and later the Hispanic population, would shelter here from Pirates that once tormented the Island.

The tunnel is over 6 km long with an additional 1.6 km under the sea but only 2km are open to the public.

The walk inside the tunnel was interesting as they artifically lit of the walls for people to see the formations. We didn't realise that there is a little secret about these caves. But once we arrived at that particular location... wow... we were totally amazed!! I don't think I should tell you guys what the secret is. But seriously it amazed every single one of us... it's definitely one of the highlights of visiting these tourist attractions. A definite must visit if any of you guys decide to visit Lanzarote in the future!!

- Jardin de Cactus
This tourist attraction features more than 10,000 cacti. We were hoping to arrive at this place to take a photo with the big cactus at the entrance to the garden. Everyone was so excited cuz we thought that the cactus would be real but when we arrived there is FAKE!! Everyone was shocked but i was ok about it... somehow i had a feeling it would be fake. But oh well, we still took a photo with it and decided to not pay the entrance fee to check out the other cacti.

- Jameos del Agua
We didn't have much time left to visit this place as it was getting late. We were starving cuz we missed lunch and just felt that there wasn't gonna be a wow factor about checking out a galleries of connecting caves and underground grottoes so we decided to head back to the hotel to have an early dinner instead.

We ate heaps cuz we were so hungry and after dinner when we were sitting at the reception surfing the net, one of the staff came over and asked us if we were interested in playing a game of Bingo. I was quite interested as I haven't played one of these games in ages. All i could think of now was... "B I N G O, B I N G O, B I N G O and bingo was his name O"

Dat was quite lucky that night. He ended up winning the whole game where he had to tick off all the numbers on his sheet. He went up on stage to receive his prize... a bottle of champagne!!

The hotel has different performances each night so tonight there was gonna be a Polynesian dance show. Straight after the bingo game, the performance started. I was quite intrigued with the girl's luna dancing... their hip movement was just amazing... really wish i could dance like that.

After a few different dances, the 2 male performers asked 6 male audiences to go up on stage to perform one of their chants. The male performers spotted Dat and asked him to go up on stage. All the guys ended up taking off their tops and had to perform the routine 2 at a time.

I managed to capture his performance on my phone and along the way, you can just hear me and this lady laughing so much... it was just hiliarious.

After that we thought it was gonna be over but it wasn't. This time it was the female performers to ask people to go up on stage. We thought that girls was gonna go up on stage but in the end, they targeted Dat again to go on stage!! He had to wear the skirt, coconut bra and flower head band... and follow their dance moves. Dat followed every move to the perfection and was so into this whole experience where everyone in the audience was just laughing their heads off!!

I've never laughed that much before (actually the other time was on the ski trip in the guys). My stomach was in so pain but it was such a memorable night!! Definitely a night to remember in the future!

Day 31 - Lanzarote - South

Our first official day of siteseeing in Lanzarote. And we went to these places:

- Timanfaya National Park

The Fire Mountains have more than 100 volcanoes. The last eruptions were in 1824 and due to the low rainfall, this area appears much the same as it did just after the eruptions.

Once we parked our cars, we boarded a coach bus that had an audio guide that explained the history of this place. We drove around the mountains looking at the different formations created from the eruptions. The background scenary of these mountains was just amazing... this whole area does have an unique 'Martian' feel to it.

After the ride, we had lunch at the El Diablo restaurant at the National Park. This places serves Canarian food where the meat is cooked using geothermal heat. I was so hungry by the time we had lunch so i was determined to have 1/2 grilled chicken all to myself. Everyone and esp Dat wouldn't believe that i will be able to finish the whole dish by myself... I knew I could so I just patiently waited for my food to come... finish the whole dish... and say "ta da!! I'm finished!!" lol

The grilled chicken was amazing!! One of the best chicken that i've had in ages!! yum yumm!!

- El Golfo

We then drove up the coastal area to El Golfo. It's a semi-circular Volcanic crater filled with sea water that has filtered through the black sand that the separates the lagoon from the sea.

- La Geria (Winery)

We passed through this area so we though to just stop by and checkout out one of the wineries. It was actually quite interesting to see how they grow the vines in the black soil. They are grown in Socos (small semicircular walls) to protect from the constant wind.

- Papagayo beach

The last destination for the day was actually situated inside a national park. We had to pay an entrance fee to find this secluded beach but it was definitely worth it. The sand was not black... the views was amazing... we had a nice relaxing time just chilling around the beach and taking some silly poses... If we had more time then i would def want to come back here on a sunny day...

Day 30 - Lanzarote - Day 1

Such a perfect day!! We didn't do anything the whole day!!

Eat sleep walk sleep walk eat sleep swim shower eat play sleep

We decided to spend the day relaxing around our resort and the city area. We wanted to start fresh on the following day as we didn't know what we wanted to do & we also needed to rent a car for the remaining days. We were also dying to get some sun & today's weather was just perfect too!!

Can't believe we slept so much! I didn't really have any deep sleeps but more like just closing my eyes... but the feeling was so good!! It's really rare that my holidays are like this... it's always been weekend trips were things are always so hectic!! So finally having the holiday to do this... so awesome!!

The sleep was good and being able to get some suntan was great too. Luckily i didn't get sunburnt!! Hehe... but J's suntanning session didn't go too well. Well, we have 10 more days to go so hopefully her suntan will even out!!

I'm hoping that my suntan on this holiday will be good too! Just enough to look tanned but not black. I need to avoid having my face in the sun... don't want my freckles to get darker. If so, what do you think I will look like?

You think I will come back as a Vietnamese or a Phillo??

Day 29 - My First Easter trip

Finally my first Easter trip!! Not only is it my first time in london... it is also the first time in my whole life!! All these years, I've always been working at the restaurant. That's why I hate public holidays... I can't be like other people and go on holidays.

I'm quite excited about this trip cuz its with my Provence group!! It's been a while since we have travelled together... and all of us can't wait to get some sunshine!!

We arrived in Lanzarote around 9pm and rushed to the hotel straight after we collected our luggage! We were quite hungry and luckily we arrived just in time to grab what was leftover. We spent 5 mins or so walking around all the food bars to check what type of food was available. There was a chef that cooked pasta, fresh meat & seafood. And the usual hot food, salad, bread, cold cuts and desserts. I think all of us were so hungry that we grabbed as much as possible... even the ice cream cuz we were scared that they would take away the ice cream while we were eating our mains!! hehe..

It was just amazing to see how fast it took us to gather all the food in one hit... and as per the below photo, our whole table was full and i think we ate most of it too!! lol

Day 28 - Sashimi... raw stuff.... eww...

Went to have Japanese food with a friend today. While we were ordering food and I reminded him that i didn't eat raw stuff and then he asked "Why"?? I've already told him several times before that I don't raw stuff and every single time he has to ask "Why"??

My answer is: "I don't like the texture!!"

I can't seem to appreciate it and I think that there is no flavour. People use soy sauce and wasabi to eat with their sashimi but i don't really like wasabi (or mustard)... My dad always tries to force me to eat it but I just don't like it. All I can imagine is the actual fish getting their flesh carved out (fresh and still moving image going through my mind right now)... yuck!!

Maybe there will be one day that I will start liking it. And hopefully by that time, I can go to Japan and experience eating their cuisine to the max!!

But right now... "No, thank you mate"

Day 27 - Van & Ed

Another friend came into town for a visit - Van & Ed

It's been a while since I last catched up Van. Ever since she left RBC, we haven't really been able to meet! So I was quite excited to see what's the latest goss, where she has travelled and etc...

We headed to Vapiano on Great Portland street for dinner. It's my second time coming to this restaurant. Their second store opened next to my work place in Southwark. The concept is quite interesting. Everyone gets a card to order as much food as they want at the different food counters. When we leave, we use the card to pay at the end.

After dinner, we headed for dessert at Princi and then headed to Pep's accommodation to say a final goodbye to the girls before they started their top deck tour.

These last couple of days have been busy for me... catching with everyone but I've had a great time!! So much to catchup on and I hope all them is currently have a good time with their travels... definitely can't wait to catch up with them when I go back to Sydney one day!!

Monday, April 18, 2011

Day 26 - Tartare Sauce

Tartare sauce (or Tartar sauce; US spelling) is a sauce made from mayonnaise and finely chopped pickled cucumber, capers, onions (or chives), and fresh parsley. Chopped hard-boiled eggs, olives, and horseradish are sometimes added, and Dijon mustard is often used as an emulsifier. It is frequently used to season fried seafood dishes. Vinegar can be added for a sharper flavor. The sauce is typically of a rough consistency.

In Britain, tartare sauce is based on mayonnaise made with eggs, white wine vinegar and oil, with the addition of chopped capers, chopped gherkins, a squeeze of lemon juice and some chopped parsley.

Britishs pronounce it > "Tar tar"
Americans pronounce it > "Tar ter"
Aussies pronounce it > "Tar tair"

Which is the correct way??

I think the Aussie one is the correct way and it sounds so much better!! But my work colleague (British) thinks it incorrect... we constantly have this debate at work...

My British work colleague: "tartar sauce!"
Liv: Hahahaha...lol... "NO, it's tartair sauce!!"
My Aussie work colleague: "Yeah, it's tartair sauce!! You guys are wrong!!"

It's just hilarious everytime this topic is brought up. All these disagreements between the Aussies, the Britishs and the other nationalities!! Its the same argument as pronouncing "yogurt", "vitamins", "database"... the list just goes on and on... when will it ever end?

Sunday, April 17, 2011

Day 25 - Brunch, Flat White & Sunday Roast

Once again... today's adventures was filled with food food food!!

Went to brunch with the girls (Van & Lam too) at Coco Momo. Food was so so. Typical brunch menu... nothing too special about the food. But it was a nice catchup with everyone. Seeing what everyone did the night before... plans for Easter... and just joking around!! hehe...

After brunch, we headed over to The Providores for some coffee. This place apparently serves good coffee but no takeaway so we had to wait for a seat just to have a sip of Flat White!! Luckily the wait was not too long... the flat white compared to the one i had at Allpress was much stronger. Not as smooth as Allpress. I prefer the Allpress one!!

We split separate ways at Oxford Street for some shopping... this was my last weekend in London and i really needed to find another set of swimwear. I thought i was gonna run out of hope as i couldn't find a lot of selection in some stores. But just as i was about to walk out of Debenhams, i found a whole range in the corner of the ground floor. I did manage to find a set. I tried it on and it fits but... looking at myself in the mirror... oh no!! Need to have a strict diet once i come back from Easter. I need to look fit for Ibiza!! Ahh!!

At night, I meet up with Peps and the girls again for Sunday Roast. Suggested by Lina, i decided to head out to Kings Cross to the Easton Pub. It was a long walk from Kings Cross... 10 mins or so. We were so hungry when we arrive... order the roast straight away!! 5 Lamb and 2 Pork Belly.

I had the pork belly... the meat was nice but the crackling was a bit chewy and it was soooo salty!! The vegies and potatoes were good but the crackling was such a let down... maybe next time i should try out the lamb??

Saturday, April 16, 2011

Day 24 - Peps in town!!

Peps arrived with her uni friends to London to start off their 2 months Europe trip. They arrived on Thursday afternoon but we decided to meet up tonight so I can take them out to dinner and Di's birthday drinks.

K's bag got stolen while she was trying on shoes at Clarks today. For some reason, she had all her euro and pound money in the one bag along with her passport and credit cards!! They spent more than 2 hours at the police station. She was totally devastated so some of the girls decided to skip dinner and go back to their apartment to rest up.

This incident really illiterates the need to be extra careful of your bag while going out in London or in any other country!! You should never carry that much cash with you. And if so, you should split up the money or use a money belt. I guess for K it is a big lesson learnt and definitely an unlucky start to her holiday. She needs to rush to the Australian embassy on Monday to get an emergency passport. Hopefully everything goes well for her on Monday.

In the end, I had dinner with Peps, G and Ning at an Indian restaurant in Holborn called Sitaaray. Suggested by Amit, it is unlimited set menu of kebabs and curries. The interior design was quite cool. A lot of photos of Bollywood film stars and movie posters. We were lucky enough to get allocated a private seating on the top level.

We had a good time catching up while slowly chewing on our food. They brought out a lot of food... meats, starters, nann bread and etc... we were so stuffed by the end of it and then the waitress comes along to tell us that there is more food... the mains!! Curries!! ahhh... we were so surprised cuz we thought everything came out already.

We asked them to bring out a small portion of rice and curry for us to try. We didn't really touch it but I managed to try some to see what it tastes like.

We quickly left the restaurant so we could rush to get to Loop Bar before 10pm for free entry. We made it just in time but my gosh, this place was packed with so many. So hard to find an area to talk or dance and not get bumped into...

I think we were all very full from dinner so we couldn't really drink a lot. The girls left early and I stayed around for a bit longer but started to feel tired. I wasn't in the mood to get tipsy and dance so PJ and I caught the last train home.

Day 23 - Frankie's Farewell Drinks

Went to Frankie's drinks tonight at Kanaloa. It's my second time there. I remembered the first time I came here was my very first party in London - Jon's bday drinks. Can't believe its been such a long time since I have last been here.

It was a good night out. Chatted to a few people, met some friends, talked to the farewell boy and saw him get totally smashed and finished off the night with some dancing!!

Frankie - don't forget!! I'm coming to San Fran in July... remember to introduce me to some cute guys!! Hehe... ^^

The treasure chest drink - serves 10 ppl
