Today has been such a great day because:
- I've waited for this day for a very long time. I had already started to think about ways to celebrate my first b'day in London. I've put in a lot of effort to plan out this week's celebration... it's gonna be crazy!!
- The weather was just perfect. Not too cold and not too hot. And most importantly, the sun is out and you can see everyone's face light up!! What a perfect start to London Spring!
- I lost my drivers licence last year and have been lazy with getting a replacement. I've been using my passport as ID for a while now and I finally decided to apply for one... and so today, I checked my mail and I received my replacement card!! Wohoo!! Now I can party without having to bring my passport, I can go out and buy alcohol at supermarket without having to bring my passport!!
- Team lunch - went to Nandos for lunch today. (was craving for chicken!) Such a good day to go out for a stroll and we didn't have to wait at all for a table!! Food was not bad too!
- Greek food!! I love eating Greek food!! Esp moussaka and lamb souvlaki... and tonight i went to Lemonia and it satisfied my cravings!! I had such great company with my friends, presents that I did not expect and a surprise bday cake from the restaurant... what a perfect way to end the night!! but i'm still so full right now!!
Last but not least...
Messages from my friend - been receiving so many messages from my friends from all over the world (Sydney, London, Taiwan, Toronto) whether it is through SMS, Facebook or What's App. I feel so blessed that I have such good friends... I really miss everyone in Sydney!! Even though i can't celebrate with you guys this year, but there will be many more years to come when you guys will be there with me!!
